Simcoe Childcare Services may be the place for you We are looking for an RECE or equivalent/or Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team and become a partner with our young investigators. We believe that each child is competent, capable, curious and rich in potential. Each child should be treated with compassion and respect and have a sense of well-being and belonging in our program. By fostering a positive self-image and enhancing self-esteem in the early years, a child is able to build a strong foundation to grow on. As such, all children are encouraged to express themselves through play and social interaction with others. Respect and consideration for others' thoughts and feelings and respect for the environment are emphasized. The overall program reflects the importance of recognizing the value, worth, dignity and diversity of each and every child.

We believe that both our children and our educators are partners in learning. They explore together through different learning experiences, some planned and some spontaneously occur. Our educators use a variety of open-ended materials to provoke creativity and expand the children’s ideas. During play, our educators will have a strong focus on asking meaningful questions while they research what the children’s actual interests are. They can then expand on the children’s learning, which will be shown through various forms of documentation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.56 to 23.00 per hour
