Fire Suppression Technician

- **COMBO SERVICE / INSTALLATION / SALES TECHNICIAN **_
- **“MANITOBA / NORTHERN ONTARIO”**_

We need a mature self-starter to independently do on-site installations and servicing of auto grease systems and fire suppression systems at customer heavy construction or mining customers (initially 80% of the time). When _**not **_ on service calls or installations and with sales management guidance, you will help expand our customer base. There is travel within the Province of Manitoba and Northern Ontario (Thunder Bay).

You have previous experience either installing and servicing fire suppression or automatic lubrication systems on heavy-duty mobile construction or mining equipment.
You have some technical education i.e. pre-apprenticeship course, college mechanical diploma, an IMM, heavy truck / coach apprenticeship or fire suppression training.

Your “hands-on tools” background is complemented by on-site mobile welding and fabrication experience. You have a valid “G” license with a clean driving record.

In a perfect world, you have a working knowledge of computers, the Internet, MS Office software. In your past positions, you have become a “Trusted Advisor” by building strong working relationships with your customers.

You live in the Greater Winnipeg area and have a home-based office with a computer and a high-speed internet connection. You have a wide range of professional grade hand tools (list to be provided) suitable to install / service fire suppression or auto lube systems.

Compensation is based upon experience. We offer a competitive salary and Company benefit plan plus a cell phone, company work clothing, tool allowance and vehicle expense allowance.
You have a late model 4x4 pick-up with a six-foot box. We will supply an enclosed work cap complete with inventory, specialized tools, welder and miscellaneous supplies.

Product training is provided on autogreasers or fire suppression systems as applicable.
