**Research Consultant**
- Term: 3-6 month consulting contract
- 30 - 40 hours/week depending on project needs
- Location: Vancouver, BC
- Minimum qualifications: A master’s degree plus three years of experience post-grad, or an equivalent with a minimum of five years of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum five years of research experience including qualitative data collection and facilitation
- Experience conducting applied research
- Facilitation skills, with proven experience navigating difficult scenarios, including conflict resolution and de-escalation while facilitating
- Effective oral and written communication and organizational skills
- A high level of computer skills is essential (most facilitation will be conducted virtually)

Preferred qualifications:

- Understanding of healthcare systems/public health in British Columbia
- Advanced graduate degree in public health, health science, or health administration
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to work in the office as required by the team

Roles/responsibilities:

- Participate in regular team meetings and huddles with Research and Community Engagement team
- Independently facilitate qualitative data collection (e.g. focus groups, key informant interviews, user testing)
- Independently develop research methodologies and data collections tools (i.e. key information interview guides, focus group interview guides)
- Data analysis and report writing
