Champlain College Saint-Lambert is currently seeking a highly qualified individual for a Full-Time PEDAGOGICAL COUNSELLOR. This role is strategically balanced with 80% of responsibilities dedicated to quality assurance and the development of academic procedures, and 20% to the deployment of new technologies and pedagogical support systems.

- 1. Quality Assurance and Academic Policy (80%):
- Conduct thorough quality assurance for course outlines and generic course outlines.
- Develop and refine academic procedures and policies, aligning them with the college's strategic educational objectives.
- Participate in pedagogical development activities beneficial to the college (when needed) and actively participate in professional development opportunities that can contribute to the broader educational community.
- Plan, design, and evaluate pedagogical strategies to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Ensure the alignment of curriculum with institutional standards and educational goals.
- Assist in the implementation of new programs and course modifications.
- Participate in various college committees and working groups.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports and documentations related to pedagogical activities, ensuring compliance with, and incorporating feedback from the recommendations of various bodies, including the Commission d'évaluation de l'enseignement collégial (CEEC).
- Represent the college at various educational forums, conferences, professional networks, organizations, and committees pertinent to academic quality and policy.

2. Technology Deployment and Pedagogical Support (20%):
- Assist in the introduction of new technologies, such as AI, to enhance teaching practices.
- Support and train faculty in the effective use of technology in teaching.
- Assist faculty in adapting to and utilizing innovative teaching spaces and technologies.
- Assist faculty in the integration of innovative pedagogical practices and technologies in the classroom.
- Advise on best practices for integrating learning technologies and educational innovation.
- Collaborate on the creation of digital educational resources.
- Serve as the college’s REPTIC, representing Champlain College in the Network of ICT Respondents for the pedagogical integration of technologies in CEGEPs and colleges in Quebec.
- Participate in external boards for IT integration as needed.

**Requirements**:
Education
Undergraduate degree in an appropriate field of specialization such as Education, Psychology or any other related/relevant Undergraduate degree.

Asset
Master’s degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, or a related field.

Other
Bilingual in French and English, with proficient reading and writing skills in both languages.
Outstanding interpersonal, research, and writing skills.
Ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.
Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and external resources.
Prior teaching experience, preferably at the college or university level, with a solid understanding of educational technologies, pedagogical theories, and instructional design would be an asset.
Team player who is creative and can think outside the box.
Passionate about academic excellence and pedagogical innovation.
Demonstrated ability in problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation in education.
Familiarity with both Mac and Windows operating systems is ideal.

**Work Schedule**: Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

**Salary Scale**: 50,150.00$ - 92,027.00$
