If you enjoy fostering relationships with our providers to support them to help our workers to return to work and life, you might be who we are looking for You will join a team of professionals that are responsible for identifying, recommending and supporting Health Care Provider improvements to optimize outcomes and ensure quality care. You will also provide independent assurance and auditing services to ensure WCB’s risk management, control and governance processes are managed.

Your responsibilities:

- Performance consulting with Health Care Providers to achieve better outcomes through analyzing data, interpreting findings, trends and analysis and reporting quality.
- Creation of action plans wherein you will coach, educate and provide support to ensure contract expectations and scorecard measures are achieved as well as quality care to our workers.
- Identify gaps and recommend changes to ensure proper controls with contracts.
- Analyze service delivery and costs to determine opportunities for future contracts.
- Audit for Compliance, Operational and Financial risks.
- Communicate results of audits to stakeholders, including senior management.

Your experience and skills:

- A degree or diploma in business administration, health, disability management or finance. Equivalencies will be considered.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing quality customer service within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, decisive and results-oriented individual with a strong consulting ability and interpersonal skills that will create trust.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively to effectively achieve results within a team environment.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills combined with excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills with experience using Microsoft Access, Word, Excel and Lotus Notes.
- An in-depth knowledge of Workers’ Compensation Board Health Care Contracts, policies and procedures; as well, AHC billing rules and fees would be considered an asset.
- Overnight travel within the province and a roadworthy vehicle is required.

**Salary**: Pay Grade 11 Start Rate: $77,250 to Job Rate: $90,846 per annum
