Georgian Bay, Canada Private Club Full time

Our private Club in Georgian Bay, near Owen Sound, is looking for a seasonal (April to December) Junior Chef, reporting directly to the Lodge Head Chef.

As one of our key employees you will work closely with our Lodge Chef to support the Club in delivering high quality dining experiences for our members and their guests.

**The Role**:

- Support the Lodge Chef and Management Team to deliver world class experiences specifically related to fine dining.
- Support menu planning that deliver on member expectations ensuring a consistent high quality with an emphasis on game meat related dishes.
- Support the preparation for service of breakfast, luncheon and dinner.
- Ensure the kitchen and surrounding areas are kept in a clean and sanitized state in line with food hygiene regulations.
- Support and implement Club policies and procedures
- This is a unique opportunity to join a diverse and dynamic team who you will positively support and motivate with your professional and enthusiastic approach. The post requires that you are committed to living ‘on island’ on a rotational basis, usually 10 days on and four days off though there is some minor flexibility in this rota.

Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
