**Position Overview**:We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Roaster's Assistant to join our team. This role will support our head roaster in the coffee roasting process, ensuring that each batch meets our high standards of quality and flavor. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist the head roaster in roasting operations, including setup, operation, and cleanup of roasting equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks on green and roasted coffee, including cupping and tasting.
- Maintain accurate records of roasting batches, including green coffee origins, roast profiles, and any adjustments made.
- Help in the packaging and labeling of roasted coffee, ensuring proper storage conditions.
- Keep the roasting area and equipment clean and organized, following all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory management, including tracking green coffee stocks and supplies.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of coffee roasting and brewing techniques.
**Qualifications**:
- Passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about the roasting process.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to lift heavy bags of coffee and stand for extended periods.
- Previous experience in food production, roasting, or a related field is a plus but not required.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
