**Skate Patroller**

The Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury’s Leisure Centre includes two NHL sized ice rinks, a gymnasium, community program rooms, fitness centre and a state of the art aquatics centre with an eight lane competitive/lap pool, leisure pool with aquatic features and a relaxation/therapy pool.

Reporting to the Recreation Programmer, the Skate Patroller is responsible for providing on ice supervision during public skating.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensures that skaters comply with posted rules.
- Monitor the lobby, grand stands and dressing rooms.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner.
- Responsible for providing on ice supervision and able to take appropriate remedial action in situations as they arise.

**Key Competencies and Qualifications**
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification.
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, guests, staff and volunteers.
- Ability to identify and resolve concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to promote a culture of inclusiveness and work with a diverse population of employees, participants, agencies and the public.
- Must be at least 14 years of age.
- Required to own and wear a CSA Approved helmet.

This position offers an hourly rate of $17.05.
