Remote Lingerie Sewist

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the lingerie industry, and is excited to be working with and reporting directly to the CEO of Rubies Bras, learning everything there is to know about designing and producing luxury bespoke bras, along with starting and managing a retail fashion business. Sewing and pattern drafting experience is a must.

Job function
- Produce lingerie samples from existing patterns
- Help test out different patterns, designs and fabric
- Assist with bespoke production orders when needed

Key Learning Experience
- Learn how to design, draft and sew custom lingerie
- Learn how to test out different patterns, designs and fabric
- Learn how to work in a small business environment
- Get experience sewing custom orders
- Get mentorship from the Founder
- Work directly with the Founder

Desired Skills and Experience
- Be comfortable working remotely in a small business environment
- Be able to travel once/week for pick-ups and drop off to our studio in Toronto studios
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and employ excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management
- Creative problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude
- Be detail-oriented and organized
- Self-starter and eager to learn

**Qualifications**:

- Education in fashion studies or a related field
- Passion for designing and sewing lingerie

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$21.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
