**POSITION OVERVIEW**:

Reporting to the Manager of Partnerships & Development, the Partnerships & Development Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting fund development and external communications. With the overarching objective of establishing strategic and personalized connections with donors and stakeholders, the successful applicant aims to optimize revenue to support RHA's funding priorities. This position centers on donor-centric fundraising through the identification, relationship-building, cultivation, and solicitation of a diverse and robust portfolio of donors.

**Key responsibilities**:
**1. Partnership Building**:

- Support the development and stewardship of relationships with all organization stakeholders.
- Assist in creating donor engagement strategies and personalized communications.
- Collaborate with the Partnerships & Development team to identify new funding opportunities.
- Active participation and visibility in community events (fundraising or other) to increase RHA’s network potential

**2. Digital Communications**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Manage the organization's social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and engaging communication.
- Identify target audience segments and tailor content to maximize engagement.
- Create and curate engaging and shareable content across various platforms to enhance the organization's online presence.
- Develop visually appealing graphics, videos, and written content that align with brand identity.
- Stay updated on platform trends and features to optimize content delivery.
- Foster and engage with our online community through timely responses, comments, and messages.
- Encourage user-generated content and interactions to enhance brand loyalty.
- Plan and execute communication campaigns to support fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze communication performance using relevant tools.
- Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to the creation of external communications materials, such as thank-you letters, newsletters, press releases, promotional content and other communications.

**3. Grant Application and Reporting**:

- Research grant opportunities aligned with the organization's mission and programs.
- Collaborate with program teams to gather information for grant reporting, highlighting the impact of funded projects.

**4. Administrative Support**:

- Database Management: maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records in the CRM system.
- Generate regular reports on donor activities and contributions.
- Gift processing: process and acknowledge donations promptly and accurately.
- Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure proper recording of contributions.
- Assist in planning and coordinating fundraising events, including invitations, logistics, and follow-up communications.
- Provide general administrative support to the Partnerships & Development team.

***Qualifications and Core Competencies**:

- Post-secondary education in a related field (Business, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, etc).
- Proven experience and a demonstrated pattern of success in effective fundraising and fund development.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information simply and concisely.
- Comfortable and confident in interacting with people with diverse abilities, fostering an environment that values diversity and promotes inclusivity.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- In-depth knowledge of communications platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills with an eye for design.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheet building and maintenance
- Experience with Blackbaud Donor Management Software or other CRM software is an asset.
