As the leading distributor of electronic vaporizers and award-winning vaping products in Canada, we've made significant progress since our founding in 2013. However, we have much more to accomplish for our customers, and we're looking for a culturally aligned Inventory Control Coordinator to join our dynamic team located in Markham.

**The Inventory Control Coordinator will**:

- Coordinate Inventory Control department activities including cycle counts, reverse logistics, inventory data maintenance, and any special projects related to inventory management across all the company facilities.
- Coordinate and execute inventory management processes and resolve any issues that arise.
- Schedule, lead, and perform daily cycle counts.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, determine the root cause, and reconcile inventories to system records in a timely manner.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cycle count reports.
- Assign bin locations for newly launched products and delegate the tasks to Inventory Associates.
- Re-allocate bin locations for the existing products and delegate the tasks to Inventory Associates based on the Replenishment Report which is updated regularly.
- Set up, Maintain, and Manage bin locations and bin replenishment.
- Process RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) to determine the accurate count, compliance, and best Before Date for restock. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the return process.
- Implement FIFO program and Best before Date management. Reconcile BBD to system records.
- Plan and implement a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective products are accounted for and properly handled by either set for disposal, salvaging, or returning to stock.
- Synchronize the inventory data between the ERP system and the e-Commerce system.
- Implement continuous improvement programs for Inventory Management.
- Works collaboratively across a broad group of stakeholders.
- Communicate and coordinate with Inventory Control Manager regarding timing of physical inventories.
- Assist in developing and maintaining SOP of inventory control procedures.

***To be successful you should/ have**:

- 4+ years of direct experience in inventory control/inventory management in a distribution/retail environment
- Fluent in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word and Advanced Excel skills required
- ERP/WMS system experience. NetSuite Knowledge is considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must have a positive attitude, with a focus on teamwork and rapid problem resolution.
- Reliable, consistent attendance, punctual and dependable
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must have no issues with heights.
- Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching.
- APICS, Finance certifications are considered an asset.
- Constant learner-preferred
