Arrow and Slocan Lakes Community Services** **is currently hiring for a Part-time Food Security Program Coordinator on a Contract basis ending March 31, 2024.

**Wage**: Dependent on Experience

**Hours**: 12.5 hours until March 31, 2023 then increased to 17.5 hours per week until end of the contract March 31, 2024

**Job Summary**: The ideal applicant will be familiar with food access and recovery in the Burton region, be interested in development and operation of food security initiatives and be well organized. This leadership role will liaise with stakeholders, facilitate community engagement and future funding opportunities and will be the public face of the project.

**Preferred Qualifications**: Post-secondary education in Food Security, Rural Economic Development or Business Management. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Experience working with community groups with the ability to create and maintain good working relationships.
