**Position Available: Laboratory Analyst**
Are you a meticulous professional with a passion for Lab work? Join our team as a Laboratory Analyst and contribute to a growing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for executing routine sample preparation and analytical analysis with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide analytical support to Chemical Plant, Mill, and Underground Operations.
- Maintain comprehensive instrument service logs, including calibration records, troubleshooting, repairs, and service calls to vendors.
- Assist the Lab/Quality Manager in inventory management, SOP updates, and audits.
- Collaborate in the establishment and enhancement of analytical laboratory procedures.
- Offer support to fellow Lab Analysts during their absences.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of analytical methods, including method development.
- Ensure a clean and organized laboratory environment is upheld.
- Undertake additional tasks related to Assay Laboratory functions as required, including the analysis of R&D samples.
**Competencies Required**:
- In-depth understanding of the analytical requirements of Chemical Plant, Mill, and Underground Operations.
- Proficiency in maintaining the maintenance requisites of analytical instruments and related software.
- Complete familiarity with Assay Lab analytical procedures.
- A commitment to fostering and maintaining a safe working environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multitasking effectively, perform basic math and chemistry calculations accurately.
**Education and Experience**:
- Preferred: Post-secondary degree in chemistry or related discipline.
- An asset: Prior experience working in a Laboratory environment.

- Lac du Bonnet, MB R0E 1A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
