Modifications Associate

Reports to: Modifications Team Lead

**Assembler**

Reports To: Modifications and Plastic Lumber Supervisor or Operations Manager

**Job Purpose**:
A Modifications Associate is responsible for the timely and accurate building of waste and recycling containers which are assembled to the customer’s specifications.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountability**:

- Product Assembly
- Using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, air cutters and saws to assemble or modify products to a customers requirements.
- Working independently or as a team on an order by order basis with some stretches of repetitive tasks. Work can be physically demanding at times.
- Attentiveness, spotting and reporting of quality issues to supervisor.
- Utilize an inventory management system to pick orders for production and maintain accuracy in stock.
- Maintain organized and cleanly work station.
- Work safely utilizing proper procedure and PPE.
- Ability to share a workspace, communicate and work well in a team environment to reach production goals.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in wood working, cabinet making and/or construction would be considered an asset but not required
- Ability to complete repetitive tasks at times
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
