As our next **IT Coordinator**, you’ll be at the forefront of providing front-line support to network users and maintaining and improving all IT-related equipment and procedures. **What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Supporting Johnson Electric Canada IT technology business plan. - Installing all divisional software and hardware.
- Providing network and phone access to all employees.
- Educating users regarding network usage and protocols.
- Configuring PCs to run on the network.
- Assessing Process Change Notices (PCNs) that may impact IT.
- Managing associated licenses for software and hardware.
- Participating in the development and maintenance of a system architecture map for the Ancaster campus.
- Implementing hardware upgrades for users.
- Providing desktop support for software and hardware issues. - Supporting phone systems, shop floor equipment, and PCs.
- Providing necessary training for employees.
- Complying with Johnson Electric Canada’s Health and Safety policies and procedures.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer studies or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Windows desktop and server OS’s.
- Experience with Microsoft HyperV and Microsoft SQL considered an asset.
- Knowledge of AS400, CMS, and Avaya IP Office.
- Knowledge of Cisco and HPE Procurve platforms an asset.
- Knowledge of network and internet security software and protocols.
- Familiarity with a manufacturing environment.
