Shipping Supervisor

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
1. Track, manage, prioritize and route orders.
2. Ensure product is prepared for shipping according to the customer’s requested arrival date.
3. Work closely with Logistics and Operations to ensure all orders are shipped out on time and are consistent with the customer’s requirements.
4. Moves, arranges and sorts orders in advance to prepare for shipment.
5. Direct the flow of packages from production to shipping.
6. Inspect labels, barcodes and other features of completed orders.
7. Supervise and lead assistants in loading trucks and labelling pallets.
8. Collaborate with warehouse, production and other managers to optimize processes.
9. Maintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
10. Manage and directs assistants in shipping.
11. Assists Production with packing, stacking and moving cartons when required.
12. Resolve issues regarding shipping orders.
13. Scan completed boxes as assembled and/or shipped.
14. Order Staging
15. Schedule and coordinate courier deliveries.
16. Work closely and maintain good communication with the Logistics Coordinator.
17. Report to management on activities and issues.
18. Receive incoming products and distribute items accordingly.
19. General housekeeping including garbage and cardboard removal.
20. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with policies, procedures, rules and recommendations.
21. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as required.
22. Maintain open communication with the operations
23. Perform other duties as required based on production needs and requirements.
24. Must wear personal protective equipment as required by law.
**Salary**: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Rockton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- warehouse: 2 years (required)
