Richmond, Canada DTC Dental Treatment Center Full time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will work closely with the dentists and dental team to provide quality patient care and assist with various dental procedures. This is a part-time position with a possibility to turn into full time in the future. We are currently looking for availability on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

**Duties**:

- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide post-operative instructions
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
- Take impressions of patients' teeth for study models or orthodontic appliances
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and making custom trays
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records using ClearDent software.
- Assist with front desk duties as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and verifying insurance information

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
- Proficiency in using ClearDent
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients of all ages
- Fluency with Mandarin and Cantonese is a considered an asset.
- Minimum 1 year experience as CDA.
- Front desk reception experience is considered an asset.
