**ABOUT US**

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Construction Administrator provides a range of support to the operations at Vertikal Green Tech. They will assist the Construction Manager with small maintenance tasks, documentation, and costing. They will also provide administrative support by managing site entry, maintaining databases, setting up and attending meetings, sourcing materials and labour, liaising with stakeholders, and other duties as instructed.

**DUTIES**

Performs day-to-day support; this includes but is not limited to:

- Managing the site entrance and visitor entry
- Maintaining up-to-date project documentation and databases (i.e., project drawings and plans, construction permits, invoices, purchase orders, etc.)
- Turning off/on and maintaining minor project equipment (i.e., pumps, fans, lighting, alarms, bird control, etc.)
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Monitoring budgets and documenting all project expenses
- Making phone calls to gather pricing from different vendors
- Performs general maintenance tasks on various equipment (proper training for preventative and periodic maintenance will be provided)
- Maintains a safe workplace by adhering to WorkSafeBC regulations and ensures all workers and contractors are working safely with the necessary PPE
- Manages shop drawings, transmittals, and other documents used in construction projects
- Creates and drafts subcontracts, purchase orders, invoices, and other documents
- Compiles bids and quotes from sub-trades and vendors
- Monitors timesheet records of contractors and compares it with contracts
- Other duties as instructed

**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES**
- General knowledge of construction processes and construction work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under specific timelines
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Some years of experience/knowledge in construction coordination, construction processes, engineering, trades coordination (i.e., civil, architectural, electrical, plumbing, etc.) or other relevant experience
- Experience with administrative duties
- Experience using a variety of tools
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
- Valid B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Occasional travel to various jobsites may be required
- May be requested to assist the Construction Manager or CEOs on-site outside of regular work hours
- Use of personal vehicle is required, Vertikal Green Tech will reimburse for mileage expenses
