Planners are responsible for the creation and maintenance of specific program and project planning items, such as generating the operational activities list (work packages), supporting production by palletizing and allocating material to work packages, and tracking costs and completion of those work packages. Responsibilities include production support, work package definition, and issue management and resolution where necessary to expedite materials and ensure that production resources remain effectively utilized.

An understanding of EVMS principles and integration of KPIs into the planning process is desired. The role will need to understand general project and work breakdown structure and coordinate the flow of work and materials based on contractual requirements using the input of functional team leaders (supply chain, engineering, program management, production).

The resource is expected to understand planningbest practices and identify and resolve potentialplanning issues that may occur and affect the success of the project/program. The role will need to understand the general project lifecycle and structure, the roles and interactions across different stakeholder disciplines and divisions and have a clear awareness of contractual requirements and scope definition.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and monitor work packages of production, labor, materials and supplies necessary to meet scheduled project/program needs
- Ensure Production is aligned with program/project needs, including allocating materials to work packages, supporting warehousing and inventory management items, and validating production readiness with respect to the production schedule
- Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.
- Help support the Project, Engineering, and Production team with progressing of schedules, re-planning efforts, compiling status reports and graphs, and anticipating other/future reporting needs across the various departments. Status reports include EVM Analysis, Progressing, Work Package Status, and Labor Forecasting.

Additional experience with any of the following software is a plus:

- Oracle - Primavera P6 EPPM
- Autodesk - AutoCAD, DWG TrueView and Navisworks.
- Microsoft Office - Visio
- Microsoft Power BI

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
