Flagger/laborer

Job Title: Flagger

**Duties**:

- Direct traffic to ensure the safety of pedestrians and motorists in construction zones
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices, such as cones and signs, to guide traffic flow
- Communicate with construction crews and drivers to coordinate traffic movement
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks and accidents
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed
- Provide clear and concise instructions to drivers and pedestrians
- Report any incidents or issues to supervisors or appropriate authorities

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a flagger or in a related role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of traffic control regulations and procedures
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
