**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Graduate of a Medical Office Administration Program or Medical Terminology Certificate and equivalent in related experience
- One year experience with community-wide scheduling including Meditech Admission, and ORM
- Good keyboarding skills with minimum 50 wpm.
- Working knowledge of computers and computer programs including knowledge of Microsoft Office and Meditech
- Knowledge of office equipment (telephone, fax, photocopiers)
- Evidence of high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to respect the confidentially of personnel and patient information
- Compliance with confidential requirements under the Niagara Health Privacy Policy
- Demonstrated professional attitude while interacting with the public, patients, employees and medical staff
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team
- Must be available for all shifts, vacation replacement, sick time and paid holidays
- Flexible, self directed and able to work effectively
- Consistent and regular attendance required
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset
