**Role purpose**

To Support the migration activities, we are looking to hire a Business Analyst who will work in the Operations work stream and carry out various activities to support successful transition of the various projects related to Cash, Cheques and payments.

As a member of the Program team, the role holder will support in the executing the strategy of Operations and seeks to execute significant change in people and processes in a fast paced, complex, and challenging environment. Drive the Program Management role that supports change initiation, design, testing and delivery and is ultimately accountable for successful delivery of the program

The role holder will be responsible for supporting and executing the Operations transformation activities that may span across several business domains and work streams or a combination thereof.

**Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities**

The role holder will be working closely with the Project Leads in executing various tasks associated with the program

The role holder will need to deliver and execute on the following aspect within their allocated area
- Mapping of processes
- Perform gap analysis
- Create, maintain and communicate project plans
- Work in collaboration with other lines of business on the program ensuring we leverage best practice and avoid duplication.
- Ability to write procedures
- Support to execute on any proposed solutions mitigating any associated risks/ actions
- Establish effective relationships to aide operational bank wide delivery
- Identify the need for any communication plans and raise/ prepare/ delivery accordingly and ensure interlocks / socialization of solutions take place.
- Responsible for developing any analysis/ reports required for the work stream relating to People.
- Work with Project Lead in establishing key measures of success or KPI’s for their domain/ work stream and agreeing this with the Deveron program lead.
- Surface/ establish/ anticipate and mitigate any key people/ process risk for their domain / work stream
- Ensure that the PMO/ Program Lead is keep up to date with any key project updates through weekly reporting and catch ups.
- Operations Testing -Work with the leads to deliver on various testing requirements.
- Prepare all work stream related materials for socialization/ governance / signoff
- Support day to day BAU operations as required within Cheque operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to maintain effective working relationships with teams, peers, senior management and business stakeholders
- Good understanding and knowledge of MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- To be flexible and adaptable in an environment constantly changing priorities, challenging bureaucracy.
- Strong analytical and written communication skills
- An effective and authentic communicator, ability to call out risk and gaps with overall program goals in mind.
- Strong interpersonal skills and relationship building skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting aggressive deadlines
- Ability to work at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work independently while effectively managing time
- Takes personal accountability and delivers to promises
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours to cover core time zones of PST & EST

**Must have**:

- 2+ years experience in the following areas:

- Map processes
- Gap assessment
- Coordination of testing requirements
- Requirements gathering
- Previous experience as BA

**Nice-to-have**:

- Previous BA experience in Payment and Cheque streams
- Clearing systems
- EFT, ATM, Cheque, cash management
