Call Taker

Position is paid by hourly wage.

Position will offer varying shifts in a 24 hour operation per week. Weekend and night shift starting at 3pm availability would be mandatory. ** **NOTE: some shifts may start/end when buses are not running.**

Other position requirements include:

- Superior customer service
- A intermediate knowledge of the Halifax Regional Municipality landmarks / roads is required
- Standard computer knowledge as well as the ability to learn a new program.
- Standard oral and writing skills.
- The ability to work in an ever changing paced environment.
- The ability to sit for long periods of time and maintain focus / concentration.
- The ability to work with a team.
- The ability to work independently.
- The ability to type 40 words per minute.
