Part-Time Permanent Dishwasher

This is a great job opportunity for someone entering the work force, for earning extra steady income while having a second job, or for someone who is semi-retired and still wants to be busy.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Cleaning and sanitizing all dishes, glassware, pots, pans, trays, and utensils
- Maintaining the dish washing and kitchen areas and ensuring equipment is clean, in working condition and complies with safety standards
- Cleaning and maintaining floors and walls in the dish washing and kitchen areas by following standard procedures
- Removing trash and placing it into designated containers
- Assisting with loading, unloading, and transferring supplies, products and equipment between storage and work areas
- Other duties and tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Positive attitude
- Ability to communicate with team and management in professional manner
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Comfortable standing for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**About you**:

- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent is an asset
- Previous dishwashing experience preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience with industrial dishwashing machine preferred but not required
