**Job Summary**

**What will you do?**
- Lead the National tax services team for the Royal Trust business which is responsible for tax compliance and for providing tax advice on estate and trust account related matters.
- Drive the strategic vision and direction team while also overseeing the design and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives related to the overall tax risk management of the business
- Lead in the provision of Canadian income tax advice to staff on estate and trust account related matters
- Identify and assess tax training needs of staff and help deliver effective and superior tax training and materials to staff at various levels
- Mentor, train and develop tax staff on substantive and technical tax matters

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must Have**
- 10+ years related public accounting firm or trust industry experience in tax advisory services and tax compliance
- CA/CPA Designation
- Strong understanding of Canadian income tax provisions applicable to estate and trusts
- Technological literacy (Tax Prep and Excel)
- People management experience

**Nice to Have**
- Bilingual
- TEP Designation
- Corporate taxation and cross border taxation expertise
- In depth Tax Course (Levels 1-3)
