We are hiring a Home and Community Occupational Therapy & Physiotherapy Assistant to service our Oxford and Norfolk regions of Southwest Ontario. The OTA/PTA works in the home care setting as part of the CBI Home Health team serving **Oxford & Norfolk County community not limited to Tillsonburg, Port Rowan, and Langton.** **This role requires a reliable vehicle to travel to clients homes.**

**What you need to be successful**
- You possess a valid post-secondary diploma as an Occupational Therapy/ Physiotherapy Assistant
- All team members are required to be full vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption
- **Ability to travel within the Oxford & Norfolk County community-valid driver's license and car insurance is required**:

- You can assist/ teach exercise programs and train activities of daily living, including the use of assistive devices
- You can provide gait and balance training
- You are knowledgeable in the use of therapeutic equipment
- You are proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Your focus is to embrace person and family-centered care
- You are known for your excellent communication skills and ability to work in collaboration within an interdisciplinary team as well as work independently
- You value the role a therapist assistant plays in keeping clients at home when that is of personal importance
