**The Role**:
We have a position available for a full-time Heavy Equipment Technician in our Laval, QC location to inspect, diagnose, recommend, and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and electronics of German engineered pumping equipment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect, diagnose, recommend, service, and repair faults & malfunctions in mechanical components, hydraulic systems, and electronics of concrete pumping equipment
- Communicate with equipment owners for authorizing of servicing and repairs as required
- Check/test all repaired work to ensure that pumps are in good and safe operating condition
- Review documentation and or repair order to ensure all required information on repair order is accurate legible and complete
- Record parts and equipment utilized on the repair order and ensure the parts person is aware of stock taken
- Maintenance on support equipment
- Over the phone customer support may be required
- Travel within Montreal and on the road across Quebec and Maritimes may be required

**Qualifications**:

- Fluent in both English and French
- Completion of secondary school or trade certificate an asset
- Able to work at heights (can provide training)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
- Able to work independently, be reliable, and self-driven
- An understanding of concrete, construction, and concrete pumping
- Previous experience working on Mack or Putzmeister equipment an asset
- Previous experience working on hydraulics
- Dependable, hardworking, punctual, reliable, team player with positive attitude

**Le rôle**:
Nous avons un poste disponible pour un technicien d'équipement lourd à temps plein dans nos locaux de Laval, QC, pour inspecter, diagnostiquer, recommander et réparer les pannes et les dysfonctionnements des composants mécaniques, des systèmes hydrauliques et de l'électronique de l'équipement de pompage de fabrication allemande.

**Responsabilités clés**:

- Inspecter, diagnostiquer, recommander, entretenir et réparer les pannes et les dysfonctionnements des composants mécaniques, des systèmes hydrauliques et des composants électroniques de l'équipement de pompage du béton
- Communiquer avec les propriétaires de l'équipement pour autoriser l'entretien et les réparations, le cas échéant
- Vérifier/tester tous les travaux de réparation pour s'assurer que les pompes sont en bon état de fonctionnement et sûres
- Examiner la documentation ou l'ordre de réparation pour s'assurer que tous les renseignements requis sur l'ordre de réparation sont exacts, lisibles et complets
- Enregistrer les pièces et l'équipement utilisés sur l'ordre de réparation et s'assurer que le responsable des pièces est au courant du stock utilisé
- Entretien de l'équipement de soutien
- Un soutien téléphonique à la clientèle peut être requis
- Des déplacements à Montréal et sur la route à travers le Québec et les Maritimes peuvent être requis

**Qualifications**:

- Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou certificat de compétence, un atout
- Capacité à travailler en hauteur (peut fournir une formation)
- Capacité de soulever régulièrement un minimum de 50 livres
- Capacité de travailler de façon autonome, d'être fiable et de faire preuve d'initiative
- Compréhension du béton, de la construction et du pompage du béton
- Expérience antérieure de travail sur des équipements Mack ou Putzmeister, un atout
- Expérience antérieure de travail sur des systèmes hydrauliques
- Fiabilité, travailleur, ponctuel, fiable, esprit d'équipe et attitude positive
