**Role**:
The Ministry of Education has an exciting opportunity and is looking for a **Shipper/Exam Processor** to join our team.

The Shipper/Exam Processor assists the Manager, Operations and Special Cases, Provincial Assessment, in all phases of diploma examination and achievement test processing at the provincial Marking Centre and warehouse.

In your role as a Shipper/Exam processor you will be responsible to:

- The role ensures that all examinations, tests, and support documents are distributed according to schedule and that an established regimen of quality control and security procedures has been observed.
- Support Provincial Assessment by collaborating with staff in other branches to meet government and department Business Plan goals.
- Developing and implementing strategies to ensure a continuous improvement model for the packing, shipping, and processing of diploma examinations and achievement tests, and for the associated security of exams and tests.
- Communicate with stakeholders to ensure writing centres, schools and school authorities receive the required quantities of testing materials.
- The Shipper/Exam Processor performs other duties as assigned by the Manager, Operations and Special Cases, and the Director of the Examination Administration Branch.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma and three years of directly related experience with provincial assessment processes.

**Equivalency**: Directly related experience or education considered on the basis of: one year of experience for one year of education or one year of education for one year of experience

- Strong verbal communication skills and human relations skills.
- The ability to respond appropriately and in a timely manner to concerns and issues.
- A high degree of organizational ability.
- Knowledge and skill sets required to utilize electronic data and associated hardware.
- Experience in an office and warehouse setting.

**Machines and equipment used**:

- Central Processing Unit (Computer) = 70%.
- Central Processing Unit hardware (i.e., Barcode Readers, Barcode Printers, Laser Printers) = 25%.
- Packing, Shipping and Processing equipment (i.e., Shrink Wrappers, Photocopy Machines, Manual Pallet Jack - electronic would be considered an asset, reach truck, etc.) = 5%

**Salary**:
$26.00-$31.83 Per hour
