Annuity Analyst

**Job Description**:
The Canada Life Reinsurance Shared Services Operations Team is looking for an
** Annuity Analyst.**

**The Canada Life Reinsurance Shared Services team works with internal Reinsurance clients to provide services and solutions.**

The Annuity Analyst acts in the operational activities pertinent to the onboarding and testing of new Longevity Swaps within the Swaps Application.

The Annuity Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Annuity Analyst in the development and testing phase of new Swaps deals.

**What you will do**
- Collection, analysis, and interpretation of Business Requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure understanding of business requirements.
- Review and test of various components in Development which includes preparation of use cases for testing.
- Creation of test plans and documentation of test results.
- Conduct thorough and detailed User Acceptance Testing
- Identify, document, and resolve defects.
- Provide business expertise to the Regina IT Team.
- Communication with internal clients including Regina IT team.
- Support enhancements and future development as driven by client requests.

**What you will bring**
- Post secondary education
- Understanding of general IT methodologies, processes, and practices.
- Systems and Systems Testing Knowledge
- Experience working in DEV and UAT environments
- Ability to work with IT to communicate requirements and perform testing
- Proven analytical, critical thinking and mathematical aptitudes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong rapport with business teams.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Time management skills
- Problem solving
