**Monthly Salary Range**: MoveUp Group 09, MIN $5,730.00 - MAX $6,882.00 is available through annual general wage/step increases.

**Recruitment Range**: MIN $5,730.00 - STEP 3 $6,367.00.

**What you'll be doing...**:
The Purchasing Agent supports the Supply Services group by coordinating and arranging all transportation logistics to achieve a delivery of materials, parts and services. This individual will also conduct cost analysis and resolve any receiving and billing discrepancies. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, someone who enjoys problem solving and has a keen eye for detail.

Please note that this position will work on site at our Langford depot five days per week.

- Courses completed in word processing, spreadsheets, database management, supply chain or procurement
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- APICS, Supply Chain or Procurement certifications is an asset
- Knowledge of public sector procurement practices is an asset
- Proven communication skills, both verbally and written
- Ability to analyze information while using critical thinking
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
