Athelite Basketball Academy is the largest basketball academy in the Fraser valley. We operate out of various locations and recreation centres across Surrey and Delta. We provide mentorship to kids through basketball coaching and training. We work with beginner to advanced kids from grade 1 to 12. We have a group of caring, high energy coaches looking to make a positive impact in their community through coaching and we're looking to add to our team You will be provided with a fun, yet challenging work environment where you will get to teach basketball.

**Job description**

We're in search of Junior Coaches We're looking for entry level coaches for our beginner level recreational youth league programs for boys and girls in grade 3 to 8. The ideal coach has knowledge of the fundamentals of basketball and loves working with kids. You will be able to follow a detailed lesson plan and engage the kids with positive feedback, while challenging them to learn the game of basketball through drills and competitive play. Great communication skills is a major asset.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 6-20 per week

**Salary**: $16.75 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

COVID-19 considerations:
Masks are optional for staff.
