Truck Crane Operator

Operators will be responsible for ensuring that dispatched deliveries are completed on time and in a safe and efficient manner. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate paperwork is completed and returned to the office, as well as maintaining truck maintenance.

**Responsibilities**:

- Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
- Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- Load and unload goods with the high up cranes
- Perform brake adjustments

- Driver’s License (Class 1 or A or equivalent)
- Crane safety Certificate (Folding Boom 10 ton & under)

**Salary**: $35.75 per hour
