Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bouncer/Security to join our team. As Security, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, patrons and staff. If you have a background with security in pubs, clubs or other drinking establishments, we encourage you to apply.

**Duties**:

- Greet and welcome guests as they enter the premises
- Monitor and control access to the building
- Maintain a visible presence at the entrance to deter underage individuals
- Assist with checking ID to make sure everyone is 19 yrs of age or older.
- Provide directions and information to guests
- Handle any inquiries or concerns from guests in a professional manner
- Check bags for anything that shouldn't be brought in. Example: outside food, drinks, alcohol, weapons, etc.
- Collaborate with other security personnel to maintain a safe environment
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security
- Assist staff with monitoring premises and other duties.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Door Attendant or in a similar security role
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies and procedures
- Filling out Incident Reports
- Dealing with customers in a professional manner after customers have had a few drinks

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC Security License(BST)
- Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday night shifts from 9 pm - 2:45 am.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods of time

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
