Virtual Assistant Position at The Poverty Solution

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

**Meeting Management**:

- Accurately take and organize meeting minutes for all scheduled meetings.
- Distribute minutes promptly and follow up on action items.

**Team Coordination**:

- Proactively follow up with team members and relevant stakeholders to ensure tasks are completed and projects are on track.
- Facilitate effective communication among team members and external partners.

**Project Support**:

- Provide assistance with project management, including tracking progress and updating project timelines.
- Create and maintain project documentation and reports.
- Facilitate communication among team members to move projects forward effectively.

**Administrative Support**:

- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for virtual and in-person events.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Must be a strong leader and self-starter.
- Fast-learner, ambitious and ability to research solutions
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in project management and administrative support.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Basecamp project management tool.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Preferred:

- Previous experience working with social impact organizations.
- Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Google Meet, Basecamp).
- Understanding of global poverty issues and sustainable development goals.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
