**Position Description**:
Reporting directly to the Chief of Research, the SickKids Research Institute is searching for a mature and motivated **Research Summer Student.** The student will undertake data analysis projects for the Chief of Research, literature reviews, and various other projects. **This role will require you to be on-site daily.**

**Here’s What You’ll Get to Do**
- Participate in data gathering and analysis to aid strategic planning
- Data extraction and collation
- General website review
- Critically appraise and synthesize relevant literature
- Present your findings in writing and presentations to the Chief of Research
- Generate “heat maps”

**Here’s What You’ll Need**
- Currently undertaking or just completed an undergraduate degree
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Strong written and spoken communication skills
- Simple coding skills an asset
- Mature and motivated with a keen and enthusiastic attitude
- Ability to function independently and within a team
- An interest in research methods

**Employment Type**:
18-week summer research position. Full Time; 35 hours per week, May to August 2023
