Territory Sales Manager

**Job description**

Territory Manager/Project Manager will focus on developing business in Northern Ontario for all of our company products and solutions. Including Engineering Firms, Contractors, Mining Companies, Municipality’s, Steel Industry, and Pulp and Paper, throughout Northern ON.

Leading solutions provider in Northern ON. Specializing in Valves, Instrumentation, Electrical and Panel Building. Engineered solution packages for design build and concept trials. A sales professional will have room to grow and succeed. **Responsibilities**:

- Promote company and its partners product offerings, concepts and services.
- Develop sales objectives, strategies and forecasts for future growth
- Building relationships
- Maintain and develop territory
- Work with inside sales, engineering, and other support staff to ensure we meet customer requirements.
- Develop sales opportunities by interaction with existing and new customers
- Evaluate RFQ’s, specifications and functional requirements in order to provide the appropriate products to offer

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- Self-starter, Self-motivated with results oriented approach to business
- Outside sales experience, calling on industry with specific knowledge or background in one or more of the following industries preferred: (HVAC, industrial, building products, mining, municipal, valving, electrical, instrumentation).
- Evidence of the ability to interact effectively with contractors, owners, and end users, to build long-term relationships.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, above average mechanical aptitude, and the ability to interact with a diverse customer base.
- Effective time management, organization and multi-tasking skills
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Excellent team player, customer service oriented and works well under pressure
- A university degree or diploma in Engineering, Business, Instrumentation/Electrical or related area of study will be a definite asset and on the top of the list
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Overnight travel expected
