The Software Support Specialist provides technical support for automated material handling software systems and equipment in warehouses and distribution centers using an array of technical tools to test and commission systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem solving. The role involves knowledge of software testing, design & debugging, operating systems and databases.

**About the position**

As an administrative clerk you will be maintaining records of inventory, ensuring the site spare parts are processed/stored as per the SSI Schaefer standards. You will be supporting the site management in various administrative activities such coordinating supplies, managing reporting and documentation of the site operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Essential Functions:_
- Receives, unpacks, and delivers goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
- Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
- Analyze and suggest improvement to spare parts management strategy.
- Make regular inventory audits
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Generate, and present reports to the customer management team as directed
- Assist the Site Management team
- Coordinating deliveries and returns with suppliers/customers
- Other administrative duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Secondary/post-secondary education
- Administrative experience is an asset
- Inventory management experience is an asset
- MS Office abilities, especially Excel and Word
- Strong organizational skills
- Must have keen attention to detail
- Must have strong initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to speak French an asset
- Professional demeanor
