We are currently looking for a **Production Foreman **for the **Weekend nightshift** at our facility in **Brampton**. Reporting to the Plant manager, the Production foreman will assure the efficient daily operations of the plant and our commitment to our health and safety program. We are looking for a team player for whom the day to day challenges of a manufacturing environment brings out their very best.

Work 36 hours and get paid for 40 hours

**RESPONSABILITIES**
- Assure the efficient operations of the facility
- Setup and run blown film extruder and 4 color printing jobs
- Support and lead production personnel
- Review and schedule production and manpower requirements
- Participate in the training of production employees
- Prepare production reports
- Follow the production KPI including Safety, Quality, Efficiency and House keeping.
- Provide information, instruction and supervision to the crew
- Implement, distribute, maintain and train employees on the health and safety program, procedures and safe work practices
- Investigate accidents and near miss situations
- Respect the standards of quality as well as health and safety at work according to company policy and Govt. regulations
- Coordinate all shift activities in accordance with the company’s “employee working conditions manual”
- Be a Health and Safety leader on the floor

**REQUIRED PROFILE**
- Relevant Hands-on experience in Blown film manufacturing industry.
- Leadership
- Respectful management style
- Interpersonal communication skills
- Autonomous, methodical and efficient
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to work in a multicultural environment
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Health and Safety Act
- Mastery of computer tools such as the MS Office suite

**CONDITIONS**
- Full time position - weekend shift
- 2 sick days per year

**WORK HOURS**

Weekend nights shift 7pm - 7am
Friday to Sunday, 36 hours worked/week, 40 hours paid
