Yard Labourer

- General yard duties include but are not limited to, handling of materials, loading and unloading trucks, serving customers in the yard etc.
- Must be able to lift 80+lbs
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of building products would be considered an asset also.

We are currently looking to add a Yard Labourer to our team. The right applicant will have strong communication skills, be safety oriented and will have a strong work ethic.

**Duties and Responsibilities include and not limited to**:

- Provide assistance with general site preparation and clean-up as directed
- Handle and distribute construction materials, as well as safely load and unload vehicles with supplies and equipment
- Able to assess work environment for potential health and safety hazards
- Removal of all debris from work
- Driving of a vehicle may be assigned when needed to assist with repairs
- Additional responsibilities may be assigned

- Ability to work and follow directions in challenging work environments
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to stand, lift 75 lbs, carry, bend, reach etc.
- Punctuality and flexibility
- Experience in a construction environment an asset
- Ability to follow instructions
- Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s License clear of serious offences under the Highway Traffic Act.
- Must have a reliable ride to our yard in Stayner
