On Power Systems Inc. is one of the largest independent providers of electrical power quality services and mitigation equipment in North America. We provide our clients with best-in-class products and power management methods and services to eliminate the impact of downtime. Our primary business address in Canada is 1120 LaFayette Longueil QC J4K 3B3. On Power Systems is expanding our team in Ontario and we are currently looking for a Service Technician. Ideally we are looking for a senior technician or a technician that has good power electrical/electronic experience who can learn our business quickly and be a leader. We offer a competitive compensation package with benefits. This is a permanent and full-time position.

**Position: Power Service Technician**

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults.
- Repair malfunctions in circuitry and other system structures.
- Perform preventive maintenance on UPS systems.
- Set up and commissioning of UPS systems.
- Troubleshoot / test UPS system functionality and analyze data.
- Attend emergency technical problems in a timely manner.
- Battery replacements.
- Provide products and services information.
- Capability to document, schedule and monitor multiple projects.
- Prepare reports such as maintenance orders, sales, etc.
- Attend products training courses at our suppliers training facility.

**Employment requirements**
- Secondary school and some college courses in electronics;
- At least 3 years of experience in power electronic servicing and repair; OR any other equivalent relevant qualification can be considered
- Ability to lift weights as there is working with battery systems.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours / week-ends when needed
- English language.
- Must be willing to travel as and when require

**Salary**: $32.96 per hour
