The Technology Integration & Reporting Section of the Edmonton Police Service requires one (1) Strategic Planning Analyst III who is a self-motivated collaborator and a people-focused consultant with an understanding of change management best practices, a desire to grow and develop as an Organizational Change Management practitioner, and the ability to build credibility and trust with staff of all types across the organization. Reporting to the S/Sgt I/c of the Technology Integration & Reporting Section, this role is part of the team that will interact frequently with the EPS’s Leadership at various levels, including front line officers and other staff. Responsibilities will include:

- Providing Lead team effectiveness assessments, facilitate collaborative solution development, and coordinate implementation plans.
- Use diverse techniques to facilitate meetings, conversations, workshops, focus groups and team development activities.
- Facilitate the design of organizational structures that enable business objectives, functional alignment, and team effectiveness, ensuring evidence-based best practices are applied.
- Provide thought leadership and support for leaders to navigate their teams through organizational change.
- Conduct internal and external scans to support evidence-based decision making.
- Approach challenges with curiosity and a growth mindset.
- Model the cultural commitments of safe, helpful, accountable, integrated and excellent and are on a continuous journey to further develop your leadership competencies.
- Continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
- Prioritize work based on business needs and management direction.
- Work with technical, business and project management resources to develop time and resource estimates.
- Aid in the development of training material.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in organizational development, human resources, business, marketing, communications, public administration, psychology, or a related field. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Organizational development, change management, facilitation and project management certification and/or training is an asset.
- 7 years of progressive experience in a strategic advisory role within organizational development, human resources, communications, or a related field.
- Experience in developing, designing and/or evaluating organizational development initiatives and programs in the areas of team building, strategic planning, visioning exercises, management and leadership, organizational development needs assessments and programming consultations.
- Direct experience in organizational design, project management and developing large scale/corporate-wide programs.
- Experience working within a large public sector organization and in a unionized environment is considered an asset.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts and develop innovative plans that can be implemented.
- Skills in building relationships, fostering collaboration, and influencing change.
- Adapt quickly to changing needs, are an excellent communicator and are comfortable advising senior leaders.
