Rental Supervisor

YMCA of Northern Alberta is looking for a Rental Supervisor to work as part of the facility leadership team providing oversight of community centre rentals. This position manages the promotion and development of recruitment and relationship development with potential renters, ensuring a positive experience for renters throughout their experience, and overseeing the rental staff team that support facility rentals. As part of the leadership team this position requires flexible schedule working evenings, weekends, holidays and will participate in on call rotation.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Promote rental opportunities in the community and develop new rental relationships with various community organizations, local businesses, and community members to enhance rental portfolio in Red Deer
- Recruit, hire, train and manage all staff and volunteers within the NCC Rental team.
- Provide efficient, effective, and excellent service through appropriate scheduling and approved budget
- Promote and facilitate a positive YMCA experience for anyone who visits our centres
- Support the community centre operational needs as part of a collaborative leadership team
- Work shifts as a Manager on Duty
- Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the Rental expense budgets

**What You’ll Need**
- Related post-secondary education is an asset
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Event rental experience or sales
- Supervisory Experience
- Strong Communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Networking skills and ability to build rapport
- Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving skills
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector check
- Certifications: Standard First Aid & CPR-C
