**Custodian/Maintenance Support**

RelyOn Nutec Canada (NL) is a service-based company focused on exceeding our client's requirements, on time, the first time. We provide safety and survival training to the onshore, offshore oil & gas industry, industrial, maritime sectors, civilian and Military aviation.

The Custodian/Maintenance Support for RelyOn Nutec Canada is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, general maintenance and overall upkeep of the training facility. This position plays a crucial role in creating a safe and pleasant environment for employees, visitors, and trainees. The Custodian/Maintenance Support is also responsible for assisting with general maintenance tasks and supporting various operational needs within the organization.

**MAJOR DUTIES**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
- Empty and properly dispose of trash and recycling materials.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs and repairing fixtures
- Run errands when/if needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and promptly report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
- Monitor and report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to the Maintenance & Reliability Coordinator and the Center Manager
- Assist the Maintenance & Reliability coordinator in performing repairs, installations, painting classrooms/offices, and other maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Properly sort, handle, and dispose of waste materials according to organizational guidelines and regulations.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in custodial work or maintenance support is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies.
- Familiarity with general maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and equipment handling.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
