What you’ll be doingPerforms preventive maintenance and maintenance tasks including PM checks, mechanical operations, building inspections, minor on demand repairs, heavy duty cleaning, moving of furniture, grounds maintenance/work, and janitorial tasks etc in accordance with the written policies and procedures of Extendicare, the facility, trade/CSA legislation and the Maintenance Department as well as prescribed sanitation and infection control procedures.-
- Reports unsafe and hazardous working conditions and any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.What you bringMinimum 2 years building maintenance experience, preferably in an institutional setting.-
- Possess technical competencies related to electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC.-
