Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier/Clerk to join our team. As a Cashier/Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

**Duties**:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions
- Answer customers' questions and provide information on procedures or policies
- Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
- Bag, box, or wrap products

**Skills**:

- Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Experience in cashiering and providing excellent customer service
- Knowledge of technical sales processes and retail sales operations
- Ability to maintain phone etiquette while assisting customers
- Skilled in cash handling procedures and POS systems operation
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers
- Sales-oriented mindset to promote products or services effectively

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.75-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- Morning shift

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Office: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)

Work Location: In person
