Backhoe Operator

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Backhoe Operator to join our team. As a Backhoe Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, including backhoes, excavators, and track loaders. Your role will involve various tasks such as excavation, removals, and grading. If you have experience in heavy equipment operation and possess the necessary qualifications, we encourage you to apply.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate backhoes, excavators, and track loaders to perform assigned tasks
- Remove concrete and asphalt
- Excavate for sidewalk, curb, and roads
- Grade and compact granular material
- Maintain and service equipment when required
- Follow project plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution of tasks
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in backhoe operation and heavy equipment operation
- Proficient in excavation and grading operations
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance purposes
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of outdoor work

**Salary**: $36.50-$44.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
