Medical Centre Hearing Services is an independent audiology and hearing aid clinic. We serve Peterborough and surrounding areas with full-service hearing care to include pediatric, children and adult audiograms, ear cleaning and hearing instrument sales and service. We pride ourselves in our follow up care to all our clients.

We are currently seeking a permanent full-time audiologist to join our team.

**Job Summary**:

- The audiologist is responsible for providing services in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of hearing for people of all ages.

**Duties**:

- Conduct full hearing assessments and evaluations for children and adults.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing aid use.
- Recommend appropriate amplification based on the clinical findings as well as the clients’ needs.
- Plan and direct treatment for clients.
- Perform tasks related to the dispensing of hearing aids: recommendations, impressions, programming, fitting, verification, and support and educate clients regarding programs and use of technology.
- Perform follow-up appointments to monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.
- Maintain confidential patient health records and documentation.

- Able to work independently in a multi-professional environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s Degree in Audiology.
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with CASLPO and ADP.
- 1 year previous experience in the hearing aid industry, preferably in a private audiology clinic.
- Willing to accept new graduates requiring mentorship.
