Brantford, Canada Synergy Protection Group Inc. Full time

Synergy Protection Group Inc. is hiring for dedicated and experienced mobile guards responsible for security incidents, emergencies, alarms and conducting trespass enforcement.

Shift Timings

**1. Monday to Thursday (7:00pm - 7:00am)**

**Week 1 - Monday to Thursday and Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday**

**2.Thursday to Sunday (7:00am - 7:00pm)**

**Week 1 - Thursday to Sunday and Week 2 - Friday to Sunday**
**Specific Duties**
- Monitoring and patrolling assigned sites. Observing, investigating and acting on security incidents, alarms and emergencies
- Enforcement of the Trespass Property Act including physically removing individuals found trespassing or engaging in criminal acts
- Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner to help de-escalate, defuse, reassure and/or restore order as required
- Recording and maintaining logbooks of daily activities, unusual or special occurrences and issuance of equipment to staff
- Performing other related duties as assigned
- What you will bring:

- Hold a valid Ontario Security Guard license
- Possess a valid Class “G” Driver’s license with clean abstract
- Valid Use Of Force certification Mandatory
- Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of security guard experience, ideally working as a mobile guard
- Possess excellent human relations/motivation skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of common security policies and various related Acts, codes and legislation including the Criminal Code, the Trespass to Property Act, the Fire Code and WHMIS
- Ability to react to and resolve emergency and crisis situations in a proper manner
- Be able to operate a smart phone communication device
- Demonstrated ability in preparing and maintaining clear, concise, and legible security reports and detailed records
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer-service skills, including conflict resolution, problem-solving, decision making, situational assessment and communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Supplemental pay types:

**Experience**:

- security: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Security License (required)
