Automotive Collision Estimator

Responsibilities:

- Evaluate and assess vehicle damage to determine repair estimates
- Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for customers and insurance companies
- Communicate with customers regarding repair process, timeline, and cost
- Coordinate with technicians and parts department to ensure timely repairs
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions
- Maintain open communication with the Body Shop Parts Representative
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process
- Arranging towing and temporary transportation
- Arranging road tests with necessary parties
- Accept payment and review invoice with all clients once service is complete and vehicle is to be picked up
- Communicate with internal/external stakeholders in a timely fashion regarding recommended repair/maintenance by Technicians
- Enter itemized estimate on repair orders and review with customer and/or insurance company

Qualifications:

- ICBC Certified, and being in good standing with ICBC, is required
- Knowledge of the ICBC claims filing process and relevant softwares
- Previous experience working in a medium to large size Body Shop is an asset
- Technical knowledge of body shop parts and repairs is required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations
- Valid BC Class 5 or 7 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
