RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

DUTIES
Reporting to the Enrolment Services Team Lead at the Thompson Campus, the incumbent will be the first point of contact between
applicants, students, the general public and the Enrolment Services Office. This position is responsible for answering and appropriately
directing inquiries regarding a range of services available at UCN. The incumbent will also provide a wide range of administrative
support to the Associate Registrar and Enrolment Services.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of an Office Assistant Certificate; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered,
Customer service experience,
Experience working in a team environment as well as independently with mínimal supervision in a highly interruptive environment,
Experience maintaining confidentiality,
Problem solving and analytical ability,
Effective communication skills,
Effective interpersonal skills,
Effective time management skills,
Commitment to life-long learning

ASSETS
Basic knowledge of admission and registration processes
Knowledge of working within Jenzabar or other database programs
Administrative experience in a post-secondary institution
Ability to speak an Indigenous Language
